Paris Fashion Week 2014 S

Paris Fashion Week has arrived .. which is by far the most important day of the year.. with names such as Lagerfeld , Heidi Slimane and Marc Jacobs to say a few. We are sad to say that Marc Jacobs will be leaving Louis Vuitton ( LVMH) ,  and this will be  his last show.
While watching this show I reminisced about the times of my youth in which Labels and Monograms of Louis Vuitton were the going thing .. I was glad that he brought a bit of the old with the new.. I seen a bit of modern 1920's vibe with some of the aesthetics of the 1990's... It also resembled a bit of a show girl appeal with all the feathers ,the crystals and the black background which made all the clothing and models pop.

Here are some of my favorite looks from  Louis Vuitton

Chanel was also an amazing show, it did include its key elements of being Chanel such as pearls , tweed and its black/white components. But it did have some sort of a different edgier rock and roll appeal ...  including his final looks which he added extreme burst of rainbow colors for fringe skirts and chiffon dresses.. It was absolutely captivating..

Hermes comes in loud and proud for Paris Fashion Week with its browns and auburn tones with splashes of blues and purples with showed fantastic color blocking.  It reminded me the times of the 1950's, movies the portrayed actresses like Lauren Bcall or Joan  Crawford . I suspect they would be wearing that sort of clothing in the daily lives. Sweaters that are filled with Royal Blue with a wrap around Cashmere Trench coat.  Rich Purples and Browns ... that goes swimmingly with their concave hair doo's and broad shoulders...

Miu Miu was absolutely INCREDIBLE.. I can feel the late 1960's early 1970's .. It feels like a collection straight out of the film Manon 70 with Catherine Denueve. Reminiscence of old Ungaro used in a New Modern Rich way ..
