Hello Bloggers and Fashion Enthusiasts, 

My name is Camille and I currently reside in Los Angeles. Recently, I have graduated with bachelors in Philosophy and Italian (language, history and literature).  I have a deep love and passion for fashion, (health & beauty ), architecture, real estate, films, opera, art and anything that is vintage. Speaking of vintage, I have a large collection of Vogues since the early eighties. I also have kept my baby Dior christening outfit.. fortunately..

I speak Italian, French and Turkish and will post in those languages to make it easier on my followers from other countries to read my posts.

Now a little bit about myself, when I was 18-19 I wanted to be a fashion designer, I even worked side by side with my mother creating a line of Turkish leather outfits.  When the moment arrived when I was accepted to various fashion institutes I realized that I had other interests besides fashion. I pursued many majors and left them almost done: biology, chemistry and psychology.. I just felt like it didn’t click with me and my personality. Finally when I became a philosophy major – I was able to incorporate all the things I adored and the questions I had about life, such subjects included: Fashion, Literature, Opera, Architecture, Business, Law, Films, and Logical Reasoning within the major of Philosophy. That was when I knew I was in Love.

My inspiration for dressing and designing clothing comes from many filters.   I am inspired by vintage designs, how to take a piece and making it modern for daily wear..  which many thanks has to be given to my mother , for she has started me on this venture of dressing well and education on “ haute couture” and “ prêt a porter” .. 

I am mainly inspired by actors, actresses and models of the 1940s-1970s and parts of the 1990’s. Such actors actresses and models whose names are but not limited to the following : Catherine Denueve, Bridgette Bardot, Grace Kelley, Gina Lollabridgida, Audrey Hepburn, Rita Hayworth,Anita Ekberg, Ava Gardner, Natalie Wood, Faye Dunaway, Greta Garbo, Romy Schneider, Turkan Soray ( Turkish Actress), Veruschka, Talitha Getty,  Claudia Cardinale,  and most importantly and not forgotten Vivien Leigh.  For the 1970’s I am obsessed with Charlie’s Angels  and Gia Carangi (model) . For the period of the 90’s I am solely a Linda Evangelista, Shana Zadrick (models) and a Monica Bellucci follower.

Male Actors also inspire me like: Cary Grant, Steve McQueen ,  Clark Gable, Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo and  Marcello Mastroianni .

Most importantly, I am inspired by the lives of the designers in which I respect immensely. I am very interested by how they started and how they became legends.
